Ah...

It has always been a struggle, having that confidence in prayers AND at the same time the eerily-nagging knowledge that God has the final say. Like the almost-guaranteed, already-in-the-process kinda things, how wise is it to think outrightly that they will surely come to pass(because God is good, gracious and generous, His blessings are abundant, His mercies are enduring) to the extent that they are casually brushed off in prayers. And then sporadically be reminded that, who are we to even start with, to have such bold assumptions? Ahh, how frustrating! It's by God's grace that we Christians don't go crazy, debating within our inner beings. Me - at least (i think) am still sane.

A whole lot of biblical verses can be thrown out to counter those two different stands or views or whatever conflicting debatory issues you wish to call it. But nothing beats practical claims. How 'amusing' it is I find that that very previous night i went humbly in prayers, a little more fervent than my usual lie-face-up-on-my-bed-having-a-casual-pillow-talk-with-God-just-before-dozing-off, the very next day my visa was granted and a friend updated me with her apt hunt success. Oh, and timing is just right too with brother coming back for weekend then i can follow him up to kl. Haha.. now i can have a smilingly pillow talk with God =]

I sense something...

Day in day out... i anticipate. I wait. Good things come to those who wait ey? And with good things come great praises to the awesomest Name of all names! Once again, i'm blown away.

Another day came and gone

Not too bad, the tv offered some sort of entertainment. Went for a run too... I miss the pool downtown

Oscars

Not a big fan of the glitz-ie and glamour-ie awards events and stuff... but since Channel 5 (Mediacorp Spore) was showing it live, and I've got all the time in the world to kill, hence the 3.5 hours of a monday morning was devoted to the tv. Many of the mentioned movies I have not watched, so I decided to list it down, hoping to cross them off this year =)

Oh, and note to self, a few must-watch movies releasing this year: Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Up (animation), X-men Origins: Wolverine, G.I Joe...

Three

The lovely little town of Batu Pahat has 3 cinemas, 2 of which opened within a month just last Dec. And there are heaps of people out there who don't even know bp is. Haha, how's that? And then i tell u, the new cinema very power. You sit in for less than 1 hour can get frostbite dy. Crazy power ay?

Over-boredness strikes.. run run

So bored.. im contemplating goin to the cinemas and catch a movie by myself. Why not right? Movies here so cheap, rm5 or 6 can get dy... Something i've never done before, should i? Hmmm...

Daylight savings maybe?

The sun could still be seen at 7pm, here in batu pahat, johor. Longer daylight hours, but what to do with them?? Irony... with too much time at hand, i cant even grasp other things to kill time. Oh well, back to sheep counting.. one..two..three.....

2009.. overdue

2009 - a new year. The year of ox! The new phase of life... so few words, but such big things installed.. And God has prepared them all, are we ready to unwrap them?

On a side note, I've been back for 2 months and 17 days.. travelling, golek here and there, visiting friends, kl, vietnam, singapore, jb, mlc, kk, muar... heh, and dear old bp. And i'm still in bp.... bumming, rotting, biodegrading, sienning... where is the new phase of life? Lol!
